Early Autumn days in Sydney can often fall into the “absolute sparkler” category – warm in the sun but not too humid, with sea temperatures hovering pleasingly in the mid-twenties. In a few weeks you’ll be pulling out coats, tights, and extra blankets for the bed, but before farewelling Summer completely, getting to a stretch of Sydney’s coastline for a walk and a swim is an April must-do. Sydney’s South Head is a lovely spot to spend an Autumn afternoon, with its secluded coves of white-sand beaches, historic lighthouse and WWII-era military relics, fringed by a stretch of coast-hugging track that takes in both Sydney Harbour and Pacific Ocean views…
