Sydney in winter is a bit of a lucky dip – sunny and crisp one day, rainy and blustery the next. Last Sunday sat staunchly in the latter weather system, but as I feeling inspired to get out of the house, I rugged up and headed out to soak up some classic Sydney vistas, starting at Barangaroo for a stroll around the reserve, down through Millers Point, under the Bridge, and around the Quay. I wasn’t expecting the photos to turn out too crash-hot, given the low-light and blah weather, but the navy blue-green ocean, gun-metal grey skies, orange sandstone buildings, peeps of watercolour yellow sunshine, and the odd lick of fire engine red paint, made for a rather striking palette.
