Spring is all about simple, pretty, fresh makeup, and all through September and October I’ve been using these four products like they’re going out of style (always topped off with a spritz of Diptyque Philosykos). L’Oreal Infallible Matte Foundation | This medium coverage foundation stays pleasingly put during warm Spring days, and unlike a lot of products suitable for oily/combo skin, it doesn’t feel like you’ve slapped on a mask. A rare win for the greasy girls!
Clinique Cheek Pop Blush | Not only are these blushes super pigmented, they’re buildable, blendable, and bloody long-lasting to boot. My pick for Spring is the shade Berry Pop: use a light hand for subtle flush of pink, or build up for a dramatic hit of fuchsia.
Tarte Gifted Mascara | I usually prefer a plastic mascara wand to tame my lashes, but this bristle brush ticks all the right boxes – it lengthens, thickens, separates and volumises with a pleasing lack of clumpiness or mess. And let’s face it, with that bamboo packaging it’s the best-dressed mascara in town.
MAC Lipstick in Plumful | This pretty plummy shade is sheer but still nicely pigmented, and moisturising without being overly glossy. It’s my go-to shade for those days where looking like I’ve made an effort without actually doing anything is high on the agenda (so basically, it’s my everyday go-to).
